Roberto Suraci was born in1969 in Naples, where he lives and works.
Opposed to others he studies as a self-taught man, and even from the beginning he shows interest for the search and the experimentation of various materials for sculpture as tufa, ceramics, wood, passing then from this kind of sculpture to classical works however maintaining the references with the contemporary tendencies.
During his way, the representation of the tromp d'oeil can be considered the point of arrival of a new search as the frescos on tufo that he realized for some Neapolitan churches.
